HPP-100 Hand-Held Programmer
Revision 3.3 1
The HPP-100 Hand-Held Programmer
The
HPP-100 Hand-Held Programmer
is a powerful and convenient tool, yet its operation is
simple enough for anyone to master in a short period of time. The
HPP-100
has the appearance
of a TV remote control, but has a different principle of operation. It is a mini-transmitter using a
radio frequency (RF) rather than an infrared signal to transmit data. Unlike a television remote
control (that requires a direct line-of-sight between the infrared transmitter in the remote and the
infrared receiver in the television) the
HPP-100
should be held parallel to the proximity antenna
(see Figure 1).

reader’s sound alert will respond to the command with a distinct beep.
